Welcome back to the post-apocalyptic railway tracks of Dead Rails on Roblox.
Surviving aboard a constantly moving train while facing diverse hordes of enemies is no easy task.
Recognizing the threat level of each enemy type is key to formulating effective defense strategies and ensuring the continuation of your journey.
This article presents the latest Dead Rails enemy tier list.
We rank enemies from the most dangerous and challenging (S-Tier) to the easiest to handle (D-Tier) so you can be more aware and prepared.
Understanding This Tier List System
This tier list categorizes enemies based on their difficulty level and the potential threat they pose to players:
- S Tier: Ultimate Challenge – The most difficult and dangerous enemies, requiring thorough preparation.
- A Tier: Challenging Foes – Strong enemies that require strategy and good weapons to defeat.
- B Tier: Annoying but Manageable – Enemies that can be troublesome due to speed, numbers, or special abilities, but are relatively handleable.
- D Tier: Easy Enemies – Low-level threats, easily defeated, especially when alone.
Dead Rails Enemy Tier List (Ranked from Hardest to Easiest)
S Tier – Ultimate Challenge
- Werewolf Boss / Nicola Tesla:
This is the pinnacle challenge in Dead Rails currently.
This boss has an enormous amount of HP (Health Points) and a devastating rock throw attack, capable of killing players in a single hit (one-shot).
Fortunately, this boss only appears once under specific conditions and is an optional fight.
Requires preparation, the best weapons, and possibly teamwork.
A Tier – Challenging Foes
- Werewolves:
Don’t confuse them with regular wolves.
Werewolves are far more dangerous, appearing in packs during a full moon, having high HP (tanky), being extremely fast, and aggressive.
Facing a werewolf pack can be one of the toughest moments in the game.
- Military Zombies:
These uniformed zombies are dangerous because they often appear in large numbers and possess an annoying unique ability: they can deflect bullets shot at them.
The military zombie variants riding horses outside the military base area are considered extremely difficult due to their mobility and resilience.
- Bandits on Horseback:
Bandits riding horses are a serious threat.
They are more agile, highly accurate with their shots, capable of dealing significant damage, and even have one-shot potential.
Far more difficult to deal with than bandits on foot.
B Tier – Annoying but Manageable
- Runner Zombies:
As the name suggests, these zombies run very fast. Although not particularly strong individually, their speed makes them hard to target, and their sudden appearances are often disruptive and surprising.
- Lab Zombies:
Behaviorally similar to Runner Zombies (fast and aggressive), but their defining characteristic is appearing in massive numbers during the special Tesla Lab event.
Facing hordes of Lab Zombies can overwhelm players who lack area-of-effect weapons or crowd control strategies.
- Vampires:
More than just ordinary zombies. Vampires move faster and have a confusing short-range teleportation ability.
They also have more HP. The Vampire Knight variant is particularly dangerous as it can teleport directly into the train cabin, delivering surprise attacks at close range.
Difficult to handle if they appear in groups.
- Bandits:
Common human enemies encountered frequently.
Can appear on foot or (the harder version) on horseback (see A Tier).
They are quite accurate with rifles, and their shots can be very painful, even having one-shot potential.
Headshots can kill them, but results can sometimes be inconsistent.
D Tier – Easy Enemies
- Basic Zombie:
The most standard and slowest enemy. They are easy to defeat one-on-one.
Their main threat comes if they appear in very large numbers (hordes) that can surround the player.
- Banker Zombie:
Mechanically and difficulty-wise, the Banker Zombie is identical to the Basic Zombie.
The only major difference is their appearance, wearing suits.
Typically found in city areas or around bank buildings.
- Wolves (Serigala):
Slightly faster than basic zombies and always appear in packs.
However, their HP isn’t very high, and they are relatively easy to kill.
A major advantage for players is that wolves cannot climb onto the train, allowing them to be avoided or shot from safety.
Quick Tips for Facing Enemies in Dead Rails
- Prioritize Threats: When different types of enemies appear simultaneously, focus your attacks on enemies from higher tiers (S, A, B) first.
- Know Enemy Abilities: Be wary of Vampire teleportation, Military Zombie bullet deflection, Runner speed, or the devastating attacks of the boss.
- Utilize the Environment/Train: Use the height and structure of the train for cover, maintaining distance, or attacking enemies that can’t reach you (like wolves).
- Preparation is Key: To face A-Tier and especially S-Tier enemies, ensure you bring your best available weapons, sufficient ammunition, and healing items if needed.
Conclusion
The world of Dead Rails is filled with a wide variety of enemies, ranging from slow and easily avoidable ones to an optional boss that can end your journey in an instant.
Understanding this enemy tier list and the threat level of each is crucial for devising effective survival strategies.
By knowing which enemies to watch out for, when to prepare extra carefully, and how to exploit their weaknesses, you’ll have a better chance of continuing your journey along the railway tracks of Roblox Dead Rails.
Good luck, and may you reach your destination safely.
